Anna Watson

Shipley Ward Councillor

Anna and her family have lived in Shipley for 16 years and her children go to the local schools.

She has been a governor at Saltaire Primary School since 2009.

Last year Anna co-convened the grassroots group Clean Air Bradford - calling for urgent action on illegal air pollution in the Bradford District.

Anna has over 20 years of experience of environmental campaigning. She currently works for a charity campaigning to protect people and wildlife from hazardous chemicals.

Before this Anna worked at Friends of the Earth (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).

She is a scientist by background, and has a PhD in Freshwater Ecology.
