Darren Parkinson
Shipley Ward Community campaigner
Darren Parkinson is the Secretary and Vice-Chair of Bradford Green Party and has stood for the party in both local and general elections since 2014.
Darren lives in Hirst Wood in Shipley with his partner and two children who attend a local Primary school. Darren works as a Learning Disability Nurse for the NHS, working with Disabled Children and their families.
Darren is a committed community and environmental campaigner. He is active within the Hirst Wood Regeneration Community Group, working to improve the local area. He is also involved in environmental campaigning and is part of the Clean Air Bradford campaign group tackling the air pollution problem in Bradford.
In his spare time Darren enjoys spending time with his family and friends, walking, gardening and playing guitar in his band.
