Your Representatives

The Shipley council ward has been represented by Green Councillors since 2000. Two of the three councillors in Shipley are members of the Green Party. 
They are working hard to hold the Labour-run council to account, especially on their decision to approve an incinerator in Keighley and plans to build on our green belt.

Cllr Martin LoveCllr Martin Love
Martin was elected in 2002 and has been the Leader of the Green Group on Bradford Council for most of his time as a councillor. He chairs the Council's Environment Committee and is involved in a range of community organisations

Kevin WarnesCllr Kevin Warnes
Kevin was elected for the first time in 2004. He has campaigned for over ten years for safer streets, better recycling, improved walking and cycle routes and local shops.

Matt EdwardsMatt Edwards
Matt is the Bradford Green Party Campaign Coordinator and will be standing in the Local Elections for Tong ward.
