Working hard all year round, not just at election time

Councillor Matt Edwards and tong ward Green Party have been campaigning on a number of big issues around Tong Ward.

This ranges from trying to tackle the fly- tipping problem in our area, protecting our green spaces and making our areas safer.

In May 2021, Matt was elected as the first Green Party councillor for Tong Ward and since then has been working hard for the different areas and communities in the ward.

Following Matt's election, Celia Hickson has joined the Tong Ward Green Party team to help Matt campaign on issues affecting local resident's. Celia has a background working with start-up businesses and community groups.
