Green Party campaigner Matt Edwards has been trying to secure an update on the plans to develop the former North Bierley Water Treatment Works following the sale of the site.
Outline planning application was granted back on 8th March last year but more detailed plans will need to be submitted before work can start.
Matt has contacted Kirklees Council (the site is just outside of Bradford District) for an update and was told that no additional information had been received at this point.
The planning permission expires on 24 Oct 2021 so if no additional plans are submitted before then, any developer would need to start the process again.
However, it is likely that a new application will be submitted soon.
